Crescent moon
called “Shiva”
in a band of thin pink clouds.
Below that, three shades of pale blue,
then three shades of ivory and ecru,
then orange, glowing, then
the black horizon.
Got fired
from a job
for moon-gazing
once–
got a wife now
says “okay.”
